Chainlink Labs Welcomes Andrew McCormick as Head of Institutional and Market Development

NEW YORK — June 4, 2026 — Chainlink Labs, one of the primary contributing developers of Chainlink, today announced the appointment of Andrew McCormick as Head of Institutional and Market Development. McCormick is leading engagement with U.S. banks, market infrastructure providers, and asset managers adopting Chainlink, the industry-standard oracle platform, as capital markets increasingly move onchain.
McCormick joins Chainlink Labs from the Nasdaq-listed retail brokerage eToro where he served as Head of eToro U.S. overseeing the company’s stateside operations. In that role, Andrew was the chief executive of eToro's broker-dealer, New York BitLicensed entity, and money services business, overseeing the launch of regulated digital asset products across all three entities. Prior to leading eToro's U.S. operations, he spent fourteen years as a securities litigator and in-house regulatory counsel at Morgan Stanley, E*sawTRADE, and Eversheds Sutherland, advising financial institutions through periods including the GameStop retail trading wave and the post-FTX enforcement cycle.
In the newly created role, McCormick will lead Chainlink Labs' institutional engagement strategy, including building relationships with sell-side and buy-side analysts, developing programs for financial institutions and research platforms, and shaping how Chainlink enhances tokenized asset integration, cross-chain settlement, and capital markets infrastructure. McCormick will also champion educational initiatives designed to bring increased awareness to blockchain utility and articulate the unique role Chainlink plays in establishing secure onchain infrastructure. He will also support senior leadership in strategic engagements with banks, asset managers, and market infrastructure providers evaluating or deploying Chainlink.
"The conversation around tokenization has changed. Banks and asset managers are going all in on the financial megatrend. And Chainlink is the platform connecting those institutions to the onchain economy," said McCormick. "I've spent my entire career inside the regulatory and compliance systems that financial institutions have to navigate to participate in digital assets. This felt like the right moment to move from operating within that system to helping build the infrastructure that powers it. It's also a chance to build a better system my kids will use as they grow up."
McCormick holds a BA from the University of Virginia and a JD from George Mason University's Antonin Scalia Law School, where he was a member of Law Review.
